I gues what I'm thinking is how much the globalized world order changesthe face of warfare. As you state, the Israeli dependence of military technological industry may be an important factor; but even if it weren't so, it feels as if a new type of warfare and world domination is emerging, which is overshadowing the more traditional forms of warfare, and to which we are less aware because of our outdated perceptions of what war, or international conflict, looks like.
