Well, I beg to differ. I don't know the writer's professional acquaintance with the topic, but his assertions about serial killers are quite inaccurate; there have been many cases of female serial killers in the 19 century, who targeted men exclusively, or members of both genders (a modern example is Aileen Wuornos); and several male serial killers in the 20th century targeted men or both men and women (Dahmer; Son of Sam; the Zodiac killer).

I'm curious to see what develops. The newsreports are too vague so far.
