The phrase "come to fruitation" does exist. It may be somewhat archaeic, but it surely exists - you may try a web-search, and see how many websites use this same phrase.

If this was an attempt by you to put me down, in order to make yourself feel grander, then it has failed. Next time, you should research things more thoroughly.

Let's look at this logically. We have the word "fruit". We DON'T have the word "fruitate" (and that's a shame. we definitely should). So the word you're looking for is, therefore, fruition. Come to fruition. And there's nothing archaic about it.

Sorry for the disturbance.

Oh. Well, that's what happens when you get a hefty part of your vocabulary from reading books - aside from having problems pronouncing certain words, you will also misspel them according to biases from other words.

Anyway, I'm neither the first nor the last person to err thusly.

In conclusion, referring to fancy-schmancy Hezi over there, I'd tell you something, but Dubi wouldn't much approve.
So there. I won't respond to anything else on this subject.

Hey, I'm beginning to like this. Look at what the American Heritage Dictionary has to say about "thusly":

Usage Note: Thusly was introduced in the 19th century as an alternative for thus in sentences such as Hold it thus or He put it thus. The increasingly literary character of such uses of thus may have facilitated coinage of the new adverb thusly, particularly by poorly educated speakers who were straining for a stylish effect. Early citations for the word indicate clear association with rustic or illiterate speech, and though the word has subsequently gained some currency in educated usage, it is still widely regarded as incorrect. In an earlier survey the use of the word was judged unacceptable by a large majority of the Usage Panel. In formal writing thus can still be used as in the examples above; in other styles, expressions such as this way and like this are more natural.

Form, rather than content 21787
As I had said before, my style of English has to do with my own sense of aesthetics. "Thusly" seems to me aesthetically pleasing, so I shall continue to use it, regardless of what this cockneyed American Heritage Dictionary editor/writer has to say about it.

In any case, what annoyed me in your criticism was its form, rather than its content. You were, as the phrase goes, "asking for trouble." If I judged wrongly, then I apologize.

I tried a web search, and there are indeed 531 sites where the imaginary word "fruitation" is being used. I checked them one by one - all the webmasters are indeed people less grand than me.

Dear Citizen KNation 21665
אם יש סימן מובהק לגדלות, הרי שזו הנכונות לבדוק 531 אתרי אינטרנט אחד-אחד.

כולם היו אתרי סקס (באילו עוד אתרים ישתמשו במילים לא נכונות כאלו?), אז זה היה מהנה מאוד.
